Birkbeck University magazine

I am pleased to have been commissioned to edit and proofread the past five editions of BBK magazine at Birkbeck, University of London. The annual review showcases compelling research by staff and students, alongside stories highlighting the impact of alumni, volunteers and the university community more widely.

Each edition has around 20 features written by multiple contributors. I shape a coherent editorial voice across diverse authors, while maintaining clarity, consistency and an engaging tone throughout. I also carry out detailed final checks on the designed files to ensure accuracy and a professional finish, delivering a publication that reflects the university’s rigour and real-world impact.
